The mission of the Clayton County Parks and Recreation Department is to foster leisure activities, pursuits and experiences through the provision of a safe and well maintained park system, comprehensive and affordable recreation programs and facilities to the residents of Clayton County.

Walk & Read Program
March 23, 2021
The Clayton County Walk and Read program promotes literacy among young children and encourages nature exploration and physical fitness. Storybook pages and posted along walking trails throughout Clayton County. Each page has QR codes with audio files of the story being read in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
