Football 2017 Coaches Clinic

Tackle Football

Clayton County Youth Football online registration starts  Monday May 1st  and onsite registration dates for the fall 2017-2018 season are July 10-15th, Monday-Friday from 5pm-8pm, and Saturday 10am-4pm. Registration will be held at the Virginia Gray, Jim Huie, Carl Rhodenizer, and South Clayton Recreation Centers, and at Clayton County International Park (the Beach) Nassau Building.  Kids ages 5 through 14 may participate. To get information on football offered at a park near you, call 770.473.3800.  The cost for registration is $155 and may be paid by cash, credit card, or money order.  To register online, click here.  You must create a household profile in order to register.  Nonresident participants must pay an additional $25.  Each player must provide a certified copy of their original birth certificate (with a raised seal).  Birth certificates will be returned after all teams have been certified.

 

The Clayton County Football League provides a helmet, shoulder pads, game uniform, team picture package, and trophy for every athlete.  Additionally, each participant must supply their own practice jersey and pants; thigh, knee, hip, and tailbone pads; mouth guard, cleats, socks, and athletic supporter with a cup.

 

Junior Flag Football

The Clayton County Junior Flag Football program online registration and onsite registration dates for the fall 2017-2018 season are TBA, Monday-Friday from 5pm-8pm, and Saturday 10am-4pm. Registration will  be held at the Virginia Gray, Jim Huie, Carl Rhodenizer, and South Clayton Recreation Centers, and at Clayton County International Park (the Beach) Nassau Building.  Kids ages 4 thru 7 may participate.   The fee is $80, which includes shorts, a t-shirt, team pictures, and a participation award.   Fees may be paid by cash, credit card, or money order.  To register online, click here.  You must create a household profile in order to register.  Nonresident participants must pay an additional $25.  Kids must provide their own athletics shoes.

THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL $25.00 FEE FOR ALL NON-RESIDENT PARTICIPANTS.  Space is limited; rosters are filled on a first-come/first-served basis.

 

We need coaches for all of our youth sports programs!  You must be able to pass a criminal background check.  Experience is not required. We will train you and give you everything you need to successfully manage a team. Click HERE if you are interested in coaching.
