Clayton County Parks and Recreation youth football program is held at various parks throughout the county late summer/early fall. The Recreation Centers  will hold registration the week of July 10th-15th. Practices will begin Monday July 24th and games will begin in September. For more information regarding football, please contact your closest Athletic Park. Click on the Flyer below to enlarge.

Registration Info

v Online registration begins May 1st

v Walk-in registration dates are the week of  July 10-15th Monday through Saturday from 5pm-8pm. Saturday's hours are from 10am-4pm. 

v Walk- in registration will be held at the Virginia Gray, Jim Huie, Carl Rhodenizer, and South Clayton Recreation Centers, and at Clayton County International Park (the Beach) Nassau Building.

vFootball Ages 4 & 5 - $80 includes shorts, a t-shirt, team pictures, and a participation award.

vTackle Football Ages 5 to 12 - $155 Items include game uniform team picture package, participation award, use of helmet and shoulder pads. Parents should purchase a practice jersey and pants; thigh, knee, hip and tailbone pads; mouth guard, cleats, socks, and athletic supporter with a cup.

vOut of county fee is $25.


  Complete the registration process using one of two methods:

1. Register on site at your selected recreation center during the week of July 10th-15th.   

2. Register through www.claytonparks.com

Volunteer Football Coaches needed

We are always looking for Volunteer Football Coaches for the season. Click HERE  if you are interested. You must be able to pass a criminal background check. Football experience is encouraged but not required. All Coaches must go through the proper trainings in order to coach at team or assist. We will train you and give you everything you need to successfully manage a team.
