FESTIVAL OF TREES & LIGHTS - Join us for our annual Holiday Activities. Live Entertainment, Pictures with Santa, Cake Walk, Ginger Bread making, Arts and Crafts, Gaming Area, Santa Shop, Hay Rides and Concessions.

YULE LOG CELEBRATION - Join us for an evening outdoors filled with holiday cheer. Enjoy music by the Forest Park High School Orchestra, refreshments, face painting and ornament making.  The follow a candlelit path through the woods to a bonfire where you will find storyteller Barry Mann painting pictures of holidays past. The evening will be complete with attending children searching a wooded hillside for the fables Yule Log. This event is FREE and provides a shuttle service from Babb Middle School.

CROSS CULTURAL WINTER CELEBRATION - This program will increase awareness of how the holiday season is celebrated in various cultures, such as Christmas, Hanukah, and Kwanza.  Story teller, arts & crafts, games, and light refreshments will be provided.           SUPER SATURDAYS - FREE! No daily fees at all Recreation Centers every Saturday in July from 9:00am to 6:00pm.  On Saturday, July 5

           the Recreation Centers will be open from 9:00am - 1:00pm.

               SNAKES a presentation by Reynolds Nature Preserve Staff at the Morrow Branch Library at 10am.  Our nature center is home to 6 snakes native to Georgia.  Join a ranger for a hands on program about these amazing and beneficial, yet often misunderstood, reptiles.

              SUMMER LUAU- Jim Huie Recreation Center is hosting a Summer Luau for all ages. This event will include cotton candy and popcorn.  We will play music in the lobby and have arts and crafts from 12-2pm. We will also have a free throw contest and a 3 point shoot-out, open swim, with pool toys and pool games."   Event is from 12pm-4pm.   FREE Event.
