YULE LOG CELEBRATION - Join us for an evening outdoors filled with holiday cheer. Enjoy music by the Forest Park High School Orchestra, refreshments,

face painting and ornament making. The follow a candlelit path through the woods to a bonfire where you will find storyteller Barry Mann painting pictures of

holidays past. The evening will be complete with attending children searching a wooded hillside for the fables Yule Log. This event is FREE and provides a

shuttle service from Babb Middle School.

FESTIVAL OF TREES AND LIGHTS - In 2003 the Festival of Trees and Lights made its debut at the Clayton County International Park in Jonesboro, Georgia,

as a major fundraiser for the programs and services provided through the Rainbow House. Since that time, thousands of families and friends of all ages have

eagerly awaited this fun-filled event to kick-off the holiday season. With beautifully decorated trees, children's play area, great shopping, food, entertainment,

photos with Santa, and other special events, the Festival has become a tradition among the community.

HARVEST HAPPENING AND ACTIVIDAYS- $50 per child ages 5-13, 7:00am until 6:00pm. Located at all Recreation Centers. Registration from

October 31 - November 18. Arts and crafts, games, swimming, and field trips. Field trips are not included in the registration fee. Children should bring 2 snack

and lunch daily in an insulated container.

OUTDOOR FESTIVAL - FREE Event. Located at International Park "The Beach." This festival supports the Georgia Kids Outdoors Initiative and promotes

outdoor activities for Clayton County's youth. The event will follow the Lake Spivey Road Race and the BBQ Competition. For more information about this

LAKE SPIVEY ROAD RACE - $25 registration fee for 5k or 15k. Race will begin at 8:00am on Saturday, November 5th. Located at International Park. Register

now at www.lakespiveyroadrace.org. Following the road race will be a festival and BBQ competition from 10:00am until 4:00pm.

Proceeds support the Kids Outdoors Initiative.

Children should bring a lunch in an insulated container and 2 snacks. Please provide swimsuits and a towel for designated swim days.

Activities include arts and crafts, games, swimming, field trips, and more! *Field trips will require an additional fee not included in registration.
