Lap Swim: A swimming area that is specially designed for swimming laps.
Open Swim: Open for recreational fitness and swimming. (play, water walk, exercise, or swim)
Warm Up Pool: We feature the area’s only warm water hydro-therapy pool. This pool is perfect for people with bone or joint problems and others looking for no impact exercise.
We offer an assortment of water aerobics classes of varying intensity including H2O Works, Aqua Fusion, Arthritis Aerobics and our ever popular Aqua Boot Camp.

Virginia B. Gray Recreation Center
(Clayton County, GA) – The pool at Virginia Gray Recreation Center, 145 E. Fayetteville Rd., Riverdale GA, will be closed on September 12, 2024 for scheduled maintenance. Pool operations will resume during regular business hours on September 13, 2024.
Patrons are encouraged to visit other recreations centers in Clayton County for aquatic activities:
- Carl Rhodenizer Recreation Center – 3499 Rex Road, Rex GA
- Lake Spivey Recreation Center – 2300 Hwy 138, Walt Stephens Rd., Jonesboro GA
- South Clayton Recreation Center – 1837 McDonough Road, Hampton, GA
- Steve Lundquist Aquatic Center – 9045 Tara Blvd., Jonesboro GA
