Fall 2026 Youth Cheerleading Registration Has Closed

Thank you for your interest in Clayton County Parks & Recreation Youth Cheerleading! Registration for the Fall 2026 season is now closed.

We appreciate everyone who registered and are looking forward to an exciting season filled with teamwork, spirit, and fun.

If you missed this season, don’t worry! Be on the lookout for information about our upcoming Basketball Cheerleading season. Registration is scheduled to open on October 1, 2026, so mark your calendar and save the date. We look forward to cheering with you soon!

Save the Dates for Fall 2026 Cheerleading

• Registration Opens: May 1st, 2026
• County Cheer Camp: June 22nd–27th, 2026
• Skills Camp: July 27th–29th, 2026
• Practices Begin: August 3rd, 2026
• Games Begin: September 5th, 2026
• Picture Day: September 19th, 2026
• Christmas Cheer Competition: December 13th, 2026

Eligibility and Registration Fees

• Cheerleading (Ages 5–12): $155

What’s Included

Cheerleading registration includes:

• Practice uniform
• Cheer vest and skirt
• Crop top and athletic briefs
• Socks
• Team picture package
• Trophy

Required: Participants must provide their own athletic shoes.

Additional Details

Nonresident Fee:

Please note that the non-resident registration fee for youth cheerleading ages 5-14 is $250. The fee for flag cheerleading is $120. This fee applies to participants who live outside of Clayton County.

Practice Schedule:

• Practices begin in August and may be held up to three times per week
• Practice days are typically Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
• Final practice schedules will be determined once registration closes and teams are assigned

Season Details:

• Games are played on weekends and run through November
