About the Program
Our Dance & Cheer Team is specially designed for the basketball season. Unlike football season, where squads cheer outside on the field, this team brings the energy indoors to the basketball court, leading the crowd, pumping up the players, and creating an exciting game-day atmosphere all winter long.
Program Details
- Ages 5–12
- Registration Fee: $105 per child, which includes:
- A spirited uniform
Non-Resident Registration Fees
Please note that additional registration fees apply to participants who live outside of Clayton County.
For Fall Youth Cheerleading, the non-resident registration fee is $250.
For Youth Basketball Cheerleading & Dance, the non-resident registration fee is $200.
For Flag Cheerleading, the non-resident registration fee is $120.
These fees apply to participants who reside outside of Clayton County.
Volunteer With Us
Clayton County Parks & Recreation is always happy to welcome volunteers to support our youth sports and recreation programs. Whether you’re interested in coaching, assisting, or helping behind the scenes, there’s a role for you.
To get started, please complete our Volunteer Interest Form.
All volunteers complete a background check, required trainings, and the NAYS Coach Certification, which helps ensure a positive, safe, and fun experience for our youth.

Volunteer Dance Coaches Needed
Become a Volunteer Coach!
We’re always looking for Volunteer Coaches who are passionate about helping kids grow, have fun, and develop their skills. If you’re ready to make an impact and be part of something special, we’d love to have you join our team!
No Experience? No Problem!
While experience is encouraged, it’s not required. We provide all the training and resources you need to be successful, whether you’re coaching a team or assisting. You’ll be fully supported as you help guide and inspire the dancers on your team.
What You Need to Know:
- Background Check: All coaches must pass a criminal background check for the safety of our participants.
- Training Provided: We’ll ensure you have everything you need to manage your team and create a fun, encouraging environment for the participants.
